CASHMERE PROTEIN
Also known as cashmere keratin and derived from the hair of cashmere, it has multiple benefits for hair care. Its protein structure closely resembles that of human hair, allowing it to bond effectively to damaged areas and strengthen the hair shaft. It helps retain moisture by creating a protective film around the hair, locking in hydration while still allowing the hair to breathe. Cashmere protein also smooths the hair, reducing frizz and improving manageability by filling in rough or damaged spots along the hair shaft.
Additionally, it forms a lightweight protective barrier that shields the hair from environmental damage and heat styling. Its softening properties give hair a luxurious, silky feel, akin to cashmere fabric. The amino acids in cashmere protein penetrate the hair cuticle, bond with natural proteins, and repair damage, creating a protective coating.
Cashmere protein is ideal for damaged, chemically treated, dry, or frizz-prone hair, as well as fine hair that needs protection without being weighed down.
